The first wave of Covid-19 most definitely left the automotive industry at a halt. Both buying and selling of cars saw a major decline. The aftermarket industry also suffered major losses because people barely drove their cars out. Moreover, the chances of more people selling and buying cars increase when cars get into an accident. With no movement on roads and sealed borders, not many cars were damaged in the first place to need repair or replacement.
